Acting on instinct, early this March Kevin Richards spontaneously purchased a ticket to Ukraine. On his way to Kyiv, he was connected to the founders of the Ukraine Resistance Organization (URO). What followed was nearly a month of “doing whatever he could to help” the military on the frontline and the humanitarian efforts for those in need. Richards resolved to bring the reality of what he was experiencing back home via his extraordinary photojournalism, social media, and other channels. He caught the attention of Don Lemon and was featured on CNN. In this special night dedicated to raising awareness and raising funds, Richards shares his journey and images with us, joined via FaceTime by URO founders Ireesha Blohina and Aleksey Brynzak. They’ll take questions, and provide us with updates, and ways to help.
