We were thrilled to present a screening of Mountain Queen, the latest Netflix documentary chronicling the extraordinary journey of Lhakpa Sherpa, who holds the world record for the most summits of Mt. Everest by a woman, with ten successful ascents. This inspiring film delved into her remarkable achievements, her battles against cultural and personal obstacles, and her indomitable spirit. Following the screening, members and their guests had the unique opportunity to engage in an intimate conversation and Q&A session with Lhakpa Sherpa herself, as she shared her story firsthand.
