World-renowned anthropologist, primatologist, and wildlife correspondent for National Geographic,
Dr. Mireya Mayor is not your typical scientist. She’s a world-renowned anthropologist, primatologist, and wildlife correspondent for National Geographic, and often referred to as the “female Indiana Jones". She’s also a former NFL cheerleader, daughter of Cuban immigrants, and mother of six. Dr. Mayor joins us for an educational presentation about her adventures with wildlife and her recent scientific discoveries, most notably her co-discovery in Madagascar of the world's smallest primate.
